Congrats to Ryan and Leah Walker, our June members of the month! Ryan and Leah have been dedicated MesserFit members for 9 years, and it shows! They continue making gains, strive to practice perfect form, and help to build and maintain a solid foundation for our gym family. Ryan and Leah, thank you for choosing MesserFit 9 year ago, and for sticking with us. We love you guys!

Fun fact: Leah is usually 5-7 minutes late for class, while Ryan is typically 15 minutes early. Opposites attract!

Leah

This year, Leah earned her CrossFit L1 certification and has rarely missed a class. We are excited to have her join our coaching staff.

What got you into exercise? A desire to feel better and improve my overall quality of life.

What's your favorite exercise? Power/Squat Cleans

What inspires you? People overcoming odds and crushing it!

What exercise are you currently working to perfect?  Snatch

What do you work towards in your free time? Finding balance…..Mind, body and soul.

Ryan

Ryan rarely deviates from his training plan. He is living proof that a consistent focus on exercise and nutrition leads to a healthier lifestyle.

What got you into exercise? Growing up people used to tell me I was too skinny. I didn’t like that.

How long have you been training at MSC? 9 years

What's your favorite exercise? : Bench press. Of course.

What inspires you?: Any time I listen to a podcast or read an article discussing all the benefits of exercise.

What exercise are you currently working to perfect? Nothing specific. I just try to use perfect form on any exercise I’m doing so I don’t get hurt.

What do your work towards in your free time? Trying to improve in each of the major areas of my life.
